WEEE MARKING
You have to comply, we have the solution!
As from August 13th 2005, all electrical and electronic equipment put on the market in the EU has to be labelled to conform to the
WEEE Directive (Waste in Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
Directive 2002/96/EC
.
EN 50419
defines the specifications of the marking requirements to comply with the directive. Brady has developed a label that meets this regulation.
EN50419 states that ‘the marking shall be accessible, durable, legible and indelible’. It does not define the colour or sizes of the marking
These polyester labels
(material B7541)
, available in several sizes, have a very high resistance to chemicals, ultra-violet rays and extreme weather conditions. Once applied, they will stay in place and readable for the whole life cycle of the equipment.
The weelie bin labels are compliant to directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS directive).
